SUMMARY:Know Your Nature Neighbors (MIndfully)
DESCRIPTION:Join us as we find a few of the more than 2\,000 species that live at the preserve. We will use community science tools like iNaturalist (we can show you how)\, and we will talk about discovering the place while fully aware and attentive. \nWe also include taking field notes or nature journaling\, so please bring a notebook or journal. We will take up to two hours to walk and then stop to talk and explore on the trails. \nThis activity is appropriate for older kids\, teens\, and adults. Bring water and don’t forget a notebook! You can sign up for the activity at our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/FriendsofSCNP/) or by emailing events@friendsofSCNP.org. \nPlease check back with us the day before or morning of the event in case of any weather-related changes.
